Last April 4th, 2018, Felipe Castilla and Katia Cez\u00f3n (GBIF Spain), presented\u00a0Biomarat\u00f3n 2018<\/a> (City Nature Challenge<\/em>) at the Educational Center Polvoranca, in Legan\u00e9s. The meeting was addressed to eight environmental educators from the Environmental Education Centers (CEA in Spanish) of Polvoranca, Bosques Sur and Caser\u00edo de Henares, included in the Environmental Education Network<\/a>\u00a0from Comunidad de Madrid.<\/p>\n

During the event, the\u00a0GBIF<\/a>\u00a0platform and its link with citizen science were presented, as well as the\u00a0Natusfera<\/a> platform, the citizen science tool that will be used for registering observations during the Biomarat\u00f3n Madrid.<\/p>\n

All these CEAs have already planned activities under the Biomarat\u00f3n Madrid framework and support the project by disseminating it to the local population.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
