Last March 23rd, 2018, Felipe Castilla (GBIF Spain), presented\u00a0Biomarat\u00f3n 2018<\/a>\u00a0(City Nature Challenge<\/em>) at the Educational Center El Campillo, in Rivas-Vaciamadrid. The meeting was addressed to six environmental educators from the Environmental Education Centers El Campillo and Chico Mendes.<\/p>\n

During the event, the\u00a0GBIF<\/a>\u00a0platform and its link with citizen science were presented, as well as the\u00a0Natusfera<\/a>\u00a0platform, the citizen science tool that will be used for registering observations during the Biomarat\u00f3n Madrid. Felipe also invited attendees to participate in the II GBIF.ES Workshop about Natusfera.<\/p>\n

These centres have already planned activities under the Biomarat\u00f3n Madrid framework and support the project by disseminating it to the local population.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
