Katia Cez\u00f3n (GBIF.ES) has joined the workshop\u00a0\u201cTransfer of technical capacities associated to the publication of biodiversity data through GBIF network”, <\/em>as a teacher. This took\u00a0place in Santiago de Chile from April 23rd to 25th, 2018.<\/p>\n

The workshop – part\u00a0of the GBIF-CESP project “Regional capacity enhancement to Latin America by establishing Chile\u2019s node<\/em>” – has tried to incentivize Chilenian institutions and experts working in biodiversity in order to publish their own data in the GBIF network.<\/p>\n

After the workshop, the 7th Regional Meeting of GBIF-Nodes from Latin America and Caribe was hosted at the Central House in the University of Chile.<\/p>\n

The main goal of this meeting was to present the GBIF initiative and strategic plan for 2017-2021. Katia Cez\u00f3n participated as a guest and talked about the\u00a0Atlas of Living Australia platform and the Living Atlases community which was created for the international cooperation of this kind of portals.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
