A workshop and two projects based in data from Natusfera have highlighted the relevance of this application for knowing how species behave to the challenges of the 21st century. Results were presented during the I Conference of the Iberian Society of Ecology (SIBECOL).<\/h5>\n

The 1<\/i>st<\/i>\u00a0Iberian Ecological Society Meeting & XIV AEET Meeting<\/i><\/a><\/strong>\u00a0was hosted in Barcelona on February 4-7, 2019. Under the title “Ecology: an integrative science in the Anthropocene”, the contents of this first edition were focused on how ecology may help to face the enormous environmental transformation caused by human societies.<\/p>\n

In this context, Natusfera<\/a>\u00a0<\/b>was presented in three ways as a useful tool to get data on how biodiversity react to climate change or human activities. First, part of Natusfera’s team delivered a workshop about the opportunities and challenges of citizen science in Ecology. Second, there was also a talk about an analysis on species’ richness made in some beaches of Barcelona using data from Natusfera. Last, a poster was presented to\u00a0explain how useful is Natusfera for the study of changes in species distribution, especially in the dragon-fly\u00a0Trithemis kirbyi<\/i>.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
