{"id":14615,"date":"2019-04-11T15:44:39","date_gmt":"2019-04-11T13:44:39","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/gbif.es\/trabajar-con-info-de-portal-nacional-utilizando-r\/"},"modified":"2019-04-24T10:07:08","modified_gmt":"2019-04-24T08:07:08","slug":"trabajar-con-info-de-portal-nacional-utilizando-r","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/gbif.es\/en\/trabajar-con-info-de-portal-nacional-utilizando-r\/","title":{"rendered":"Biodiversity data hosted on datos.gbif.es ready to work with R software"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">In order to support the scientific community, that needs powerful tools to manage, visualize and analyze ecology and biodiversity data, GBIF.ES has configured the <strong>ALA4R module<\/strong> on the Spanish Living Atlas.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">ALA4R\u00a0is an\u00a0<a title=\"R language page\" href=\"https:\/\/www.r-project.org\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">R programming language<\/a>\u00a0package, originally developed by Ben Raymond (<a class=\"nova-e-link nova-e-link--color-inherit nova-e-link--theme-silent org gtm-institution-item\" href=\"http:\/\/www.antarctica.gov.au\/\">Australian Antarctic Division<\/a>), which enables the R community to directly access data and resources hosted by different data portals based on the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ala.org.au\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">ALA<\/a> technology. This is the case of the Spanish Biodiversity Data Portal.
