This workshop will take place on\u00a0<strong>May 5-6, 2020<\/strong> in the computer room at the\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.rjb.csic.es\/jardinbotanico\/jardin\/\">Royal Botanic Garden of Madrid<\/a>\u00a0(CSIC).<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">This training event aims to learn participants to be able to prepare and publish biodiversity data through the GBIF network. Topics such as data quality, data cleaning and validation, data standardization and data publication through the Integrated Publishing Toolkit (IPT) will be addressed.<\/p>\n<p>The workshop is aimed exclusively at staff members from both public and private companies, and their collaborating entities that work in the registration and management of biodiversity data for their organizations.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The <a href=\"https:\/\/docs.google.com\/forms\/d\/e\/1FAIpQLSc04-HuMRXV6jhU-WfiDu6EgLe_eDJe57XcfaFoeNJ-y4pTwA\/viewform?usp=sf_link\">subscription form is available here<\/a>\u00a0and\u00a0<strong>must be sent before July 5th, 2019<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>IMPORTANT:<\/strong> Once the preselected participants have been confirmed, they must send a confirmation about their interest in joining the workshop, before March 31st, 2020.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">More information on the\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/gbif.es\/talleres\/cesp-publicacion-datos-openpsd\/\">workshop page<\/a> (just in Spanish).<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The registration period for the\u00a0CESP Workshop on biodiversity data publishing for companies is already opened.
