On January 30-31, 2020, GBIF Zimbabwe (GBIF.ZW) organized a training workshop on Data Mobilisation<\/strong> addressed to experts from biodiversity data-holding institutions from Zimbabwe. This workshop was held at the Harare Institute of Technology (HIT) and it has been possible thanks to the previous knowledge acquired for some GBIF.ZW<\/a> staff during a previous meeting<\/a> with staff from the Spanish node of GBIF<\/a> which took place in September 2019 in Madrid.<\/p>\n

The workshop was attended by a total of 29 participants from data-holding institutions in Zimbabwe including the Forestry Commission, Parks and Wildlife Management Authority, National Herbarium and Botanic Garden, Mukuvisi Woodlands, Environment Management Authority, etc.<\/p>\n

This workshop is an activity from the “Strengthening Zimbabwe\u2019s GBIF node through collaboration with GBIF Spain” CESP project, funded by GBIF<\/a>.<\/p>\n
