Desde entonces el herbario se ha ampliado con\u00a0200.000 pliegos procedentes de\u00a0diversas colecciones de Blas L\u00e1zaro e Ibiza (algas, hongos, l\u00edquenes, musgos, helechos y plantas superiores), Marcelo Rivas Mateos, Jos\u00e9 Cuatrecasas, Salvador Rivas Goday y Salvador Rivas Mart\u00ednez. Podemos destacar la colecci\u00f3n <a href=\"http:\/\/data.gbif.org\/datasets\/resource\/257\/\">MAF-LICH con 13.865 registros compartidos en la red de GBIF<\/a>, probablemente una de las mejores colecciones de l\u00edquenes del pa\u00eds con especimenes de todo el mundo, especialmente de alta monta\u00f1a, de la Ant\u00e1rtida y del extremo sur del continente americano.
