La participaci\u00f3n de Brasil en GBIF se ha formalizado con la firma del <strong>Memorando de Entendimiento<\/strong> (ME) de GBIF por parte del ministro brasile\u00f1o de ciencia, tecnolog\u00eda e innovaci\u00f3n, Marco Antonio Raupp. El ME compromete al pa\u00eds firmante a establecer un nodo nacional que coordine la publicaci\u00f3n de datos sobre biodiversidad, y le abre las puertas a una comunidad mundial centrada en la cooperaci\u00f3n y el intercambio de herramientas, habilidades y experiencia relacionadas con la gesti\u00f3n de recursos de informaci\u00f3n biol\u00f3gica.
