Permite tambi\u00e9n b\u00fasquedas simples y complejas en una o en todas las colecciones, realizar medidas sobre los espec\u00edmenes, y descargar\/imprimir im\u00e1genes o detalles en resoluci\u00f3n apta para DINA4.<\/p>\n<p>El portal se inicia dando acceso a <strong>m\u00e1s de 50.000 im\u00e1genes <\/strong>publicadas por 21 colecciones o proyectos; en su lanzamiento, el entusiasmo y buen hacer de los herbarios espa\u00f1oles y de la Asociaci\u00f3n de Herbarios Ibero-Macaron\u00e9sicos (<a href=\"http:\/\/www.ahim.org\/html\/ahim_imarcos.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">AHIM<\/a>) ha sido fundamental. Tambi\u00e9n ha sido clave el papel de David Garc\u00eda San Le\u00f3n (<a href=\"http:\/\/www.usc.es\/herbario\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Herbario SANT<\/a>), coordinador de un proyecto multi-institucional de digitalizaci\u00f3n de ejemplares de herbario patrocinado por la <a href=\"http:\/\/mellon.org\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Fundaci\u00f3n Mellon<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>El portal se concibe como una herramienta para hacer las colecciones m\u00e1s \u00fatiles y visibles. Cualquier colecci\u00f3n, centro o proyecto interesado en participar en GBIF puede tener de su propio espacio y p\u00e1ginas en este portal.
