Este documento es una aproximaci\u00f3n para conocer con precisi\u00f3n el uso que se hace de la informaci\u00f3n sobre biodiversidad compartida a trav\u00e9s de la red. Durante 2016 se han incrementado tanto el n\u00famero de publicaciones como el n\u00famero de pa\u00edses o territorios publicadores, aumentando en un 7% el n\u00famero de art\u00edculos que emplean datos de GBIF con respecto a 2015 (418 art\u00edculos en total). <strong>Espa\u00f1a se sit\u00faa en el octavo puesto en la clasificaci\u00f3n mundial, con 34 art\u00edculos publicados por cient\u00edficos espa\u00f1oles<\/strong>.<br \/>\nLos art\u00edculos seleccionados ofrecen una visi\u00f3n instructiva a cerca de los mejores ejemplos de investigaciones que se han visto mejoradas y reforzadas por el uso de los datos abiertos disponibles a trav\u00e9s de GBIF.
