Join the first bioblitz of the LiquenCity project
The citizen science project LiquenCity aims to know the lichen diversity living in the trees of Madrid and Barcelona and relate this information with air quality. In order to achieve this goal, it needs the participation of citizens from both cities to record lichens specimens assited by experts in this taxonomic group.
For this reason, we have prepared a public activity in the Madrilian Casa de Campo. It will take place on Sunday, December 16th at 10,30 AM and the meeting point will be the Theme Park’s front parking, between the metro stations of Batán and Lago (line 10).
Agenda:
- 10,30 AM. General information about the place the activity takes place (Casa de Campo).
- Short summary on LiquenCity, the activity (bioblitz), and the Natusfera application.
- Practical explanation on how to take and register observations in Natusfera.
- Bioblitz I
- Break with snacks provided by LiquenCity.
- Bioblitz II (optional)
- 13,30-14 AM. Activity closure.
Please, confirm your participation by writing us at infogbifspain@gmail.com or submitting this form. It is also advisable you check the sampling methodology (just in Spanish).
