Join the second bioblitz of the LiquenCity project
The citizen science project LiquenCity aims to know the lichen diversity living in the trees of Madrid and Barcelona and relate this information with air quality. In order to achieve this goal, it needs the participation of citizens from both cities to record lichens specimens assisted by experts in this taxonomic group.
For this reason, we have prepared a public activity in Parque del Oeste. It will take place on Sunday, March 24th at 10,30 AM and the meeting point will be the Metro Station of Intercambiador de Moncloa.
Agenda:
- 10,30 AM. General information about the place the activity takes place (Parque del Oeste).
- Short summary on LiquenCity, the activity (bioblitz), and the Natusfera application.
- Practical explanation on how to take and register observations in Natusfera.
- Bioblitz I
- Break with snacks provided by the activity’s organizers.
- Bioblitz II (optional)
- 13,30-14 AM. Activity closure.
Please, confirm your participation by writing us at infogbifspain@gmail.com or submitting this form. It is also advisable you check the sampling methodology (just in Spanish).
