Webinar GBIF.ES: «Skills on collections: best practices, training and coordination»

In order to address the demand for dissemination and training about biodiversity data use and data publication, we are launching a programme of webinars around this topic, a friendly and feasible format in these pandemic times.

This year’s webinars will be focused on collections, an essential source of biodiversity data. The third one is called “Skills on collections: best practices, training and coordination”. It will be conducted by Miguel Vega (GBIF.ES) and it has the participation of Xavier Font (Universitat de Barcelona), Manuel Elías (El Colegio de la Frontera Sur – ECOSUR, México), Eulalia García (Museu de Ciències Naturals de Barcelona) and Francisco Pando (GBIF.ES). After the lecture session, there will be room for debate and questions.

The date of this online seminar has been reprogrammed to January 20th, 2022, at 3,30 pm (Madrid time) through the Zoom platform and will last approximately 90 minutes. Registration is required to attend.

The number of participants through the ZOOM platform is limited, so we will also retransmit this event in streaming through our YouTube channel.
