Registration open for the XVII GBIF.ES Workshop: Modeling of Ecological Niches

The registration period is now open for the XVII GBIF.ES Workshop: Modeling of Ecological Niches, which will take place from June 25 to 28, 2024 in the CSIC computer room at c/ Joaquín Costa 22, Madrid.

In this practical workshop, the concepts and techniques necessary to be able to create species distribution models using the R statistical software will be studied. This workshop will be taught by Alejandra Zarzo (CSIC) and Katia Cezón (GBIF.ES).

The GBIF.ES workshop: Modeling of Ecological Niches is part of the specialization course program of the Higher Council for Scientific Research, which will issue a certificate of completion for those students who exceed the set objectives.

The workshop is taught free of charge. The registration form is available online and must be submitted by May 28, 2024.

IMPORTANT: Once those selected for the workshop have been confirmed, they must confirm their place before June 11, 2024. If confirmation has not been received before said date, the reservation will be automatically canceled.
