Open call for GBIF.ES online workshop on the use and exploitation of GBIF and other biodiversity data portals for data publishers and users

The registration period for the GBIF.ES online workshop on the use and exploitation of GBIF and other biodiversity data portals for data publishers and users is already opened. This workshop will take place on November 17-30, 2021 through the eLearning platform of GBIF Spain.

This training event aims to give participants basic knowledge on how to use the GBIF.ES Biodiversity Data Portal and the GBIF International Portal, sharing guided exercises on their main functionalities. This workshop will also include brief tutorials on how to use other biodiversity data portals from GBIF.ES environment. The workshop will be conducted by some GBIF.ES staff and it will include some collaborations from other data portals (still to be confirmed).

The workshop will be completely free. The subscription form is available here and must be sent before October 27th, 2021.

IMPORTANT: Once the preselected participants have been confirmed, they must send a confirmation email about their interest in joining the workshop, before November 7th, 2021. In case we do not receive it before that date, the reservation will be automatically cancelled.
