Open call GBIF.ES online Workshop on Biodiversity Data Standardization and Publication of the LTER Spanish Network

The registration period for the GBIF.ES online workshop on Biodiversity Data Standardization and Publication of the LTER Spanish Network is open. This workshop will take place on Sep. 29 – Oct. 14, 2021 through the eLearning platform of GBIF Spain.

This workshop aims to improve the ability of participants to prepare and publish biodiversity data through the GBIF network. Aspects related to data quality, cleaning, standardization and publication through the Integrated Publishing Toolkit (IPT) will be addressed, as well as the preparation of data papers. The workshop is especially aimed at ecology researchers who are members of the LTER Spain Network. This workshop will be conducted by Katia Cezón (GBIF.ES), Francisco Pando (GBIF.ES), David Galicia (Univ. Navarra), Nora Escribano (Univ. Navarra) and Andrea Ros Candeira (Observatorio de Cambio Global de Sierra Nevada).

The workshop is hosted by GBIF.ES in collaboration with the ECOBIODIV PTI (CSIC) and the LTER community, and it is specifically addressed to researchers working with long-term ecological data.
