Come and join the ID Party, closing event of the Biomaratón Madrid, with Javier Grijalbo Cervantes

Next Thursday, May 3rd, 2018, from 16:00 to 19:30, the Biodiversity ID Party will take place at the MediaLab Prado‘s conference hall (Madrid Council). If you have expertise and good knowledge in Taxonomy, come to help us to identify and validate the observations made by citizens from Madrid, and uploaded to the Natusfera project “Biomaratón Madrid (CNC 2018)” during such event.

IMPORTANT: participants must bring their own laptops and confirm their attendance to GBIF.ES sending an email to infogbifspain@gmail.com.

During the Biomaratón (April 27-30, 2018), thousands of observations made in the metropolitan area of Madrid (28 municipalities) will be identified and validated by the Natusfera user community. Although this identification activity may be done anywhere and at the same time the observation is registered, the last day to identify them is May the 3rd, 2018, the date when we celebrate the ID Party. The more observations we can identify, the higher number of observations and species will be scored for Madrid.

We will have a special guest during the ID Party: Javier Grijalbo Cervantes, a technical architect, naturalist, drawers, and expert of the biodiversity of Madrid, who will give a talk at 17:00. Moreover, we will offer  a snack for those people attending the event.
