We are launching the Annual Training Plan of GBIF Spain for 2025

The Coordination Unit of GBIF Spain publishes its ANNUAL TRAINING PLAN for 2025, consisting of 8 workshops and 3 webinars. Seven of the workshops will be held in person and one will be conducted virtually on the GBIF.es virtual training platform (elearning.gbif.es). Additionally, seven of the workshops to be held in 2025 are new:

Technical Workshop for ALA Developers: an international workshop aimed at programmers of the platform on which GBIF portals are based, from March 4 to 6.
Publication of Molecular Data: from March 11 to 14 on-site.
AI Techniques Applied to Biodiversity Data and Images: in June in webinar format.
CESP Project: National Portals Addressing National Challenges: webinar on the CESP project developed in 2024 in collaboration with SiB Colombia, GBIF Ecuador, and SNIB Guatemala.
Spatial Portal: webinar to be held in September.
Use of Data for Decision Makers – How to Transform Biodiversity Data into Management Tools: in-person workshop from October 21 to 24.
Elysia on the Web: in-person workshop from November 11 to 14, dedicated to our new software for the digitization and management of collections.

Additionally, the VIII edition of the workshop on Digital Images for Biodiversity Studies (February 4th to 6th), the II edition of the workshop on Improving Biodiversity Data Quality: Tools for Data Quality Control (March 31st to April 4th), the XVIII edition of the workshop on Ecological Niche Modeling (May 20th to 23rd), and the VII edition of the workshop on Handling, Visualization, and Analysis of Data in Ecology with R (online, in December) will be held.
