You can now pre-register for the 18th GBIF.ES Workshop: Ecological Niche Modeling

The registration period is now open for the 18th GBIF.ES Workshop: Ecological Niche Modeling, which will take place from May 20 to May 23, 2025 in the computer room of CSIC at c/ Joaquín Costa 22, Madrid.

In this practical workshop, we will study the concepts and techniques necessary to create species distribution models using the statistics software R. The workshop will be conducted by Alejandra Zarzo (CSIC). The language in which the workshop will be conducted is Spanish.

The GBIF.ES Workshop: Ecological Niche Modeling is part of the specialization courses program of the Spanish National Research Council (CSIC). A certificate of achievement will be awarded to those participants who meet the workshop’s objectives.

The workshop is free of charge. The registration form is available online and must be submitted by April 22, 2024.

IMPORTANT: Once the selected participants for the workshop are confirmed, they must confirm their attendance by May 6, 2025. If confirmation is not received by this date, the reservation will be automatically canceled.
