SPECIES LINK – infoXY

A classic tool developed by The Centro de Referência em Informação Ambiental, Brazil (CRIA), very basic but very easy-direct to use by scientists. By entering data on geographic coordinates the tool returns information about the point, such as the name of the country, state or administrative region, and the name of the municipality or district.
The database used is GADM-Global Administrative Areas, a product of the BioGeoMancer project.
