Description
This collection began in 1969. It stores 539 natural populations of the species Dactylis glomerata that were collected through all Galicia. Particularly, 24 populations belonged to the subspecies marina and 41 to the diploid subspecies izcoi. This collection has 74 populations of Lolium Genus.Overall information
Strengths
1 - The conservation of the germ-plasm from places destroyed by the human actions, 2 - The multiplication of the oldest stumps that have risk of loss their germinative capacity. 3 - Characterization and selection of stumps.
