Description
The collection began in 1969, date of creation of the Paleontological Institute, with the donation of the personal collection of the Prof. Miquel Crusafont and the funds of the old Museum of History of Sabadell. It has gone getting rich along the years with successive excavation campaigns. It is mainly integrated by fossil vertebrates of the Iberian basins, basically mammals. It also has an important collection of fossil plants of the Catalan basins, as well as the "Pere Vidal Carreras" collection of fossil invertebrates.Overall information
