Description
The collection of alive plant began in 1985. At the moment, this collection is integrated by more than 5000 specimens, mainly of balearic flora. Moreover, the collection includes canary, ornamental and medicinal flora as well as autochtonous fruit trees.Overall information
Strengths
1- Aclimatation of wild balearic flora to culture in gardens and restoration of natural areas, 2- Study of behavior of wild flora in culture, 3- Characterization of varieties of autochtonous fruit trees and vegetables.
