Georreferenced world database of species of the ostracod family Entocytheridae, based on published information. Created July 2013. Study extent Global published information on the presence of living individuals of the Family Entocytheridae. Sampling description Data obtained from published and unpublished scientific literature or own data. Samples of Entocytheridae obtained by collecting their hosts (crayfish and other crustaceans) by hand or traps, etc. and filtering the fixative (ethanol, formalin) or medium (carbonated water, habitat water) where the hosts were stored.
